Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research keyword lists and develop keyword strategies to accomplish client-specific marketing objectives
  • Write optimized web page elements including titles, headings and descriptions
  • Set up and run search engine position reporting jobs
  • Collect, format and analyze search position data and web analytics data for use in client reporting
  • Contribute to formulating client SEO and social media strategies
  • Research client and competitor backlinks and develop link-building strategies to accomplish client-specific marketing objectives
  • Review and ensure quality of client implementations of recommended website optimizations
  • Act as an additional point of contact for clients
  • Contribute to client meetings to explain progress and outcomes
  • Help train new entry-level employees
  • Support account team in other related tasks
  • Write compelling blog posts and post to the Inceptor blog
  • Maintain up-to-date SEO skills and knowledge

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good organizational skills
  • Familiarity and experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the field of Search Engine Optimization
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with major social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and in group setting
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related website programming languages
